Another great study from Rabbi Isaac about the divine source of all light and life. We must keep The Lord (Hashem) in front of us at all times. When we do not follow his laws, we create distance between us and our Creator. This distance is filled with darkness and chaos. We must bridge this gap to become אחד (One) with Hashem. We've been given the tools to do so, as the Laws are a divine blessing to enable us to correct our own diminished nature. Do not make the grave error that just because we are Christians, that we are somehow free from the Law. Yeshua gave us Salvation, he did nullify us from following the Law. Understand that the commandments are for our own benefit and are not some kind of punishment. They are divinely designed to purify our souls, so that we can return to Hashem. Hashem is all Love and Light and we cannot dwell in his glorious kingdom if we are not pure.
"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 5:17-20
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." - John 5:19
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."- John 14:15
