I don't now what took me so long to do this, but there is nothing better than I could possibly do then to share than The Word of G*d itself. This is the food that we all need to feed our soul, as it is written:
"Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
And after fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.
And the tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.”
But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” - Matthew 4:1-4
As far as English translations go, the ESV (English Standard Version) and the KJV (King James Version) are my favorites, as they are both Word-for-Word Translations. The only other English translation that I like to study, is the Messianic Judaism TLV (Tree of Life) Version (which I've not been able to find that one in audio format yet).
Of course, as I proven throughout many of my posts on here, no translation comes close to the original scripture in the Hebrew and Greek languages; but I see too many of my brothers and sisters arguing and bickering over which translation is the best and whatnot. That's all just a distraction and ultimately causes unneeded division amongst us; this is not what HaShem wants us to do, not at all. We are supposed to stand together as believers and disciples and not argue with one another about such shtuyot.
We All need to Unite as One and stop all of that nonsense, just as Paul says in his second letter to Timothy:
"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17
So the the best version of The Holy Bible for you to study is the version that you will consistently study and apply to your life. Period.
