Yeshua's Ultimate Sacrifice was perfect in every aspect and every need of humanity has been provided.
"For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified." - Hebrews 10:14
We have surely received complete deliverance from all of our sins, no matter how severe they may seem in the eyes of man. Of course, The Adversary likes to torment believers with shame and rejection. He constantly plants seeds in our minds to make us think that we are not good enough and this can grow into doubt, G*d Forbid. Remember, all negative emotions separate us from Our Creator and open up the door for darkness to creep into our lives. The Wise King Solomon taught us the freedom that we are given from the confession of our sins, this is key to ridding ourselves of shame and guilt.
"He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy." - Proverbs 28:13
The Holy Spirit will expose these faults in ourselves and lead us to correction. If we submit to His Will it will truly weaken our flesh over time. Of course, ignoring it and going on about lives our own way (as opposed to His Way) will weaken the amount of Ohr Elyon (Most High Light) that we have the ability to receive. It takes much humility to confess our sins, both to G*d and especially to our fellow man. G*d knows everything that we do, but we can hide our transgressions from one another, confession is key. When we wrong someone, we must confess it to them directly and seek forgiveness. Our own forgiveness depends on the forgiveness that we have extended to our fellow brothers and sisters - Yeshua makes this Very Clear.
"Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." - Matthew 5:7
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven." - Luke 6:37
"For with the same judgment you pronounce, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." - Matthew 7:2
"And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well." - Mark 11:25
Can we even begin to imagine the shame that Yeshua endured for us, even though he despised it so? Just look at what Yeshua endured for us and know, with complete faith, that Yeshua Bore Our Shame, and just as Isaiah told us, He did not hide His Face from that shame. Bless The LORD!
"I gave My back to those who struck Me, And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting." - Isaiah 50:6
"Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him. They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.
And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His Head. They put a staff in His Right Hand and knelt down before Him to mock Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
Then they spit on Him and took the staff and struck Him on the head repeatedly.
After they had mocked Him, they removed the robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him away to crucify Him." - Matthew 27:27-31
We have to move past the shame and guilt of our previous sin and rejoice in the fact that they have all been redeemed through Yeshua. The Holy Spirit will convict us of our own personal sin for correction and we will feel guilt when we sin accordingly, but G*d doesn't send us shame, for He Despises Shame.
When we think of shame, can we even begin to imagine the shame that Yeshua endured for us as, being paraded around naked during all of this torture? We are specifically told that Yeshua done this for us as He "Despised Shame". The Word Made Flesh surely had the ability to end it all in an instant...but He chose to endure it all for you and me.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." - Hebrews 12:1-2
We must never lose sight of the magnitude of what Yeshua done for us on that cross. When we are covered by The Blood of His Only Begotten Son and do our best to walk His Narrow Path, He fills us with The Ruach HaQodesh (Holy Spirit) and He writes His Torah (Law) on Our Heart. In the Old Covenant was written on Stone Tablets but now The Law has been written on our Hearts.
"And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh,
that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God." - Ezekiel 11:19
"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." - Ezekiel 36:26
"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” - Jeremiah 31:33-34
Being Born Again and filled with The Holy Spirit makes us a target for The Adversary. He may have never noticed us before, but he surely does now. He knows that his time is short and he will stop at nothing to take as many souls down with him as he can. I can feel his attacks more and more these days and I know that it will just get worse. That just means that I'm on the right path and moving forward, doing The LORD's Work. When we suffer in this world, we must see it all as an opportunity to get closer to G*d.
“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:7-8
Have faith and know that whatever the storm brings, He is always there with us. The more difficult the storm and the stronger we stand through it, the greater the blessing in the end.
"He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him, thick clouds dark with water." - Psalms 18:11
When The LORD allowed The Adversary to torment Job, He knew that Job had the faith to endure it. The stronger our faith, the more difficult the test. The more we endure it with gratitude, the higher the blessing. This is the path of True Spiritual Growth and is all just another part of our walk with The LORD. Even though it may seem that it's too much for us to see it through, G*d promises to be right there with us, throughout it all.
"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." - Isaiah 41:10
“And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 31:8
I genuinely thank The LORD each day for every single tear that I've cried, for none have been shed in vain. It has all brought me to where I am today and I have never been in a better place in this world, no matter what the challenges are (and believe me, there are always plenty). Bless The LORD, He has changed my perception of it all - I pray that He will do the same for whoever reads these words.
"You have taken account of my sorrows.
Put my tears in Your bottle—
are they not in Your book?" - Psalm 56:8
