Ore ( אור ) and Ore ( עור )

Updated: Dec 8, 2022

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." - Gen 2:7

*Before you read any further, understand that Hebrew is read from Right to Left. It's backwards of what we're used, just like anything else spiritual.

Hebrew is not backwards, We are backwards.

Hebrew is the Pure Language of G*d, who used it to bring everything into existence with just ten utterances. (Gen 1 - go count em)

Seriously, learn it, right now. You will begin to experience the True Mystical State that can only come through the power of יהוה ישוע המשיח HaShem Yeshua HaMashiach (The LORD Jesus Christ).

"For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent." - Zephaniah 3:9

If we break down the original Hebrew for "Ground" and "Man", we can literally see that Man (Adam) comes from the Ground (Adamah).

Ground = Adamah ( אדמה )

Man = Adam ( אדם )

There are two very unique letters in the Hebrew AlpehBet that do not have a defined sound; Aleph ( א ) and Ayin ( ע ). These letters can be completely silent in a word, or they can take on the sound of a vowel that often accompany them. In the this case, both Aleph and Ayin are silent. We get the "O" sound from the Vav ( ו ) which usually sounds like "O", whenever it's used in the body of a word; if a Vav ( ו ) is at the beginning of a word, it usually sounds like a "V".

It's very interesting what we can learn from the garments in which G*d clothed Man. Before their sin, they were clothed in Light ( אור ) and after their sin G*d clothed them in skins (or skin) ( עור ).

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." - Gen 1:3

"Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them." - Gen 3:21

Understand that the Light spoken of in Genesis 1:3 is not the same as what we know as physical light; our light from the sky came later and was not created until later in 1:16:

"And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also." - Gen 1:16

The Light that started it all was the Light of Our Creator, which is sustenance of all love and life. Since there is no mention of Man's garments until after sin, we can conclude that prior to this man and woman were clothed in Light. They were essentially heavenly spiritual beings.

Now we are going to break these two Ore's down for further investigation and see what we can learn from them.

*Before SIN, Man was clothed in Ore (Light)*

Light = Ore ( אור )

Gematria Value = 207

207 is also the value of the following:

רבה = Great

ראו = See

*After SIN, Man was clothed in Ore (Skin)*

Skin = Ore ( עור )

Gematria Value = 276

276 is also the value of the following:

ערו = Awake

יסור = Agony or Will Be Removed

ורע = And Evil

למראה = Looking

And We Went Down = וירדנו (anytime The Bible mentions someone "going down", it's a metaphor for being separated from G*d, which is exactly what we see here.)

One thing that jumps out is that value of Light ( אור ) has the same value as See - and Skin ( עור ) has the same value as Looking. On the surface, this seems to be redundant, but what is the difference between see and look?

“Look” means to direct your eyes in a particular direction.

“See” means to notice or become aware of someone or something by using your eyes.

So, literally what we are seeing here is that before Sin, Man could Look, but not See but not Look; meaning that he was Unaware. Man became Awake (276) after their Sin and could look and perceive their nakedness.

(Light) - אור - starts with Aleph - Which represents G*d

(Skin) - עור - Which represents an Eye (Which is Symbolic of Knowledge)

*Now let's examine numerical difference between these two Ore's.

279 - 207 = 69

69 is the value of the following:

אבינו (Our Father)

אביון (Poverty)

ודאבון (And Sadness)

So, what we are literally seeing in the numerical difference between these two Ores' is the lack of "Our Father" which brings us "Poverty" "and Sadness".

Of course, everything in The Bible has layers and layers of interpretation; so one way of looking at all of this is that before the fall, man was essentially a heavenly body that was clothed only in G*d's Infinite Light and after the fall, man was given human bodies (thus clothed in skin). I believe that there is another level on interpretation about these garments of skin, due to man's sin, G*d literally had to take the life of an animal, in order to clothe man. This interpretation also begins to explain why G*d requires a blood sacrifice. Of course, Yeshua made the ultimate blood sacrifice for man's sin and ended blood sacrifice once and for all. I also believe that the destruction of the temple in 70 A.D. is physical evidence that G*d would no longer accept any type animal sacrifice, offered up by Israel. I figure that if G*d still wanted that type of blood sacrifice, then he would never have allowed his temple to be destroyed in the first place.

Hopefully this post will bring to light just how illuminating the Hebrew language is.

Now Go and Learn It!

Much Love and Blessings!
