To truly love someone is to want was is best for them, regardless of the cost to ourselves.
The Greatest Love is to put yourself in the place of another; to walk in their shoes and to take on their burdens as your own, to rejoice with them and to cry with them as well. There is no greater form of love than to lay down your own life to save another. This is exactly what Yeshua taught us was The Greatest Love.
“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” - John 15:13
Many times we make make our lives themselves and definitely our understanding of heavenly things way more difficult than they need to be. The Greatest Love must come from The Source of All Love and Light, Our Creator Himself. This is a very logical truth, one that even a child can understand.
John uses the Greek “Logos” ( λόγος ) in His Gospel and His Letters to describe Yeshua. There is much to be learned from this as “Logos” is logical appeal, and the term LOGIC is derived from it. “It is normally used to describe facts and figures that support the speaker's topic. Furthermore, logos is credited with appealing to the audience's sense of logic, with the definition of "logic" being concerned with the thing as it is known.” - of course, this is exactly how Our Heavenly Father made Himself known to us as well. It was all perfectly done in a very logical way in which we could comprehend that which transcends human comprehension. These heavenly truths are not taught in any school or university. The Holy Spirt is Our True Teacher, we don't have to make it all so difficult!
"But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are" - 1 Corinthians 1:27-28
Therefor, the Greatest Possible Manifestation of Love would have to be Our Creator (WHO is The Greatest Love) putting Himself in our shoes. To rejoice with us and to cry with us as well. To take our burdens upon Himself and to ultimately lay down His Own Life for us (conquering sin and death) to save our own lives.
…putting Himself in our shoes…
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” - John 1:14
…to rejoice with us…
“In that same hour he rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children; yes, Father, for such was your gracious will.” - Luke 10:21
…to cry with us…
“Jesus wept.” - John 11:35
…to lay down His Own Life for us, to save our own lives…
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16
G*D IS LOVE!
“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. GOD IS LOVE and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” - 1 John 4:16
In The Hebrew Language, Love is written differently in Noun and Verb forms:
As a Noun - “Ahavah” ( אהבה ) - Standard Numeric Value = 13
As a Verb - “Ahav” - ( אהב ) - Standard Numeric Value = 8
8 + 13 = 21
21 is The Numeric Value of The Sacred Name “Ehyah” ( אהיה ) that Our LORD first revealed to Moses on Mount Sinai, commonly translated in English as “I AM" or in some translations as “I WILL BE”
“God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” ( אהיה אשר אהיה ) And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: "I AM" ( אהיה ) has sent me to you.’” - Exodus 3:14
ויאמר אלהים אל־משה אהיה אשר אהיה ויאמר כה תאמר לבני ישראל אהיה שלחני אליכם׃
I made an astounding revelation in a previous post about this particular verse that applies directly here as well:
ויאמר אלהים אל־משה אהיה אשר אהיה ויאמר כה תאמר לבני ישראל אהיה שלחני אליכם׃
משה אהיה אשר אהיה
"Moshe Ehyah Asher Ehyah" - Moses I AM WHO I AM
Moses ( Moshe / משה ) = 345
I AM who I AM ( Ehyah Asher Ehyah / אהיה אשר אהיה ) = 543
345 + 543 = 888
Numeric Value of Ιησούς = 888
First of all, notice how these two values beside each other mirror one another (as G*d's nature is the opposite of man's / mirror image); and of course the total of them equal 888, which we know is the Numeric Value of Jesus in the Original Greek New Testament - Ιησούς / Jesus. The most important truth, that should not be overlooked, is the fact that what we are literally seeing here is Man on one side ( as Moshe / Moses ) and G*d on the other side ( Ehyah Asher Ehyah / I AM WHO I AM ) - thus, we can literally see Numeric Evidence that The Sum of Man and G*d is Jesus / Yeshua.
Since we know that The Greatest Love of Our Creator has been revealed to us through His Only Begotten Son, Yeshua, we should see some Numeric Evidence for this.
In Hebrew, "The Greatest Love" is translated as “HaAhavah HaGodolah” ( האהבה הגדולה ).
The “Mispar Siduri” (Ordinal Numeric Value) of “The Greatest Love” - HaAhavah HaGodolah ( האהבה הגדולה ) = 53
The “Mispar Siduri” (Ordinal Numeric Value) of Jesus - “Yeshua” ( ישוע ) = 53
The “Mispar Siduri” (Ordinal Numeric Value) of Torah ( תורה ) = 53
These values are derived by using the “Mispar Siduri” ( מספר סידורי ) Ordinal Method, where each of the 22 letters from Aleph ( א ) to Tav ( ת ) is assigned a Numeric Value of 1 to 22, respectively.
I find it be a very profound truth that He chose the Ordinal Method to reveal this to proof to us. Our G*d is a G*d of Order, His Law ( Torah / תורה ) brings Order from Chaos and is a Most Precious Gift, directly given to us from The Source of The Greatest Love, which was revealed to us as The Word Made Flesh - Our LORD and Savior Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ).
“The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” - Psalms 118:14
“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” - John 15:12
חסד ושלום עליכם והרבה אהבה וברכות
May Grace and Peace Be Upon You and Much Love and Blessings!
This post is 100% correct. We overthink everything to the point of not willing to follow after the L-RD. That's just the thig-im-a-jig for most people.
