The Sefer Yetzirah, or "Book of Formation" is the earliest book in Jewish Mysticism and is attributed to the patriarch Abraham, however it's origins may go back even further. This extremely esoteric text conveys how the universe came in being, through the 22 Hebrew Letters and the Ten Sefirot; which are referred to as the "32 Paths of Wisdom". The Sefer Yetzirah explains how get the "231 Gates", by combining each letter with every other letter. The truths that are revealed in this short book are absolutely astounding, however without at least a basic understanding of the Hebrew Aleph Bet, this book will make no sense to you whatsoever. My main reason for posting this particular text is to make you excited about learning these Hebrew letters and to begin to truly see the depth of G*d's Holy Language.
